It's been in the project pile for quite a while, but covid has pushed it into action  We finally have a new website.  We have combined sites with our sister store in Traverse City, Daisy Jane.  We now have one beautiful new site with a huge selection of what we offer in the stores.  www.daisyjanetc.com We are adding new items weekly and hope you will be able to visit online if you can't get to the store in person.  Your favorite brands can be found here.  Salaam clothing, Whimsy Rose, Project J sweaters, Joules, Firefly Jewelry, Holly Yashi jewelry, CP Shades,  and lots more!  Check it out, you won't be sorry. 

We'd love to see you in the store.  We do currently require masks for all in our shops.  We are sanitizing away all day long, have cash wrap sneeze guards, and are limiting the store capacity at any one time to 6 customers. French Yoga Hair Clips

One of our favorite accessories!  We call these French yoga clips.  They come in two sizes, the smaller for fine hair or when you just want to pull a small section aside, and the larger size.  The large easily holds a full head of hair.  They have a lower profile than the traditional butterfly clips so they are much more comfortable when driving (think headrest) or exercise.  We have added some to the website, but always have more colors so, give us a call.  We can send photos to help you choose and pop them in the mail to you.

Michigan necklace - locally handmade!

We love our locally made Michigan charm necklaces.  All things Michigan.  An artist in Traverse City cuts and shapes her beads by hand and then creates these beautiful one of a kind necklaces.  They have fordite (from the layers of auto paint in Michigan's car industry), a petoskey stone heart (from northern Lake Michigan beaches), a hand cut Michigan charm, Michigan beachglass, and an accent bead of Leland blue stone.  This is a perfect gift for someone who loves Michigan, and let's admit it - what's not to love!

BKG sweaters - the forever favorites!

Just realized that we haven't posted anything about our BKG sweaters.  Always favorites, these 100% cotton basics have a very loyal following of customers.  They come in two sizes.  There is a cropped mini-fit - which isn't really so mini - it's designed to be a boxy, casual style.  The other is a little wider in the body and a bit longer.  It will generally hit around the top of your leg.  Both the mini-fit and the "BKG" fit come in lots of great solid colors.  They can be machine washed and dried and will be the basic that you are always reaching for in your closet.  AND they're MADE in the USA!

We love all these fun, fun gifts, all so appropriate in the year of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics...the "Keep Calm and Carry On" coffee mugs, water bottles, tote bags, playing cards and bandaids (or sticking plasters as they are called in England) have been hugely popular items in the store.  Most of the items come with a little hangtag with some of the historical info about the phrase.  A customer has shared a link with me that goes even farther...it shows Barter's Books, the bookstore where a forgotten, vintage WWII poster was found.    Thanks, Paul!
